Speed The Light

The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission.

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated, volunteer, charitable program that provides much-needed equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 180 countries around the world. Since its beginning, STL has raised over $220 million for missionary equipment around the world.

Fine Arts

Fine Arts Festival is a discipleship tool of national youth ministries designed to "help students discover, develop and deploy their ministry gifts."

Beginning in September each year, over 70,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals. Students may enter as many as 35 of the 52 categories offered in 7 main divisions: Art, Communication, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing.

The CDDC District holds their district level competition every November at Youth Convention.

Youth Alive

Youth Alive is a multi-faceted strategy to bring Jesus Christ, the message of Hope, to our school campuses.. Youth Alive can impact a campus through prayer, empowerment, networking, and outreach.

It is a student-led and adult-supported ministry. Youth Alive provides students with the means and support needed to reach their friends and classmates with the gospel.

Ambassadors In Missions (AIM)

All AIM trips are a coordinated effort between students, leaders, missionaries, and churches. Many students participate in these trips each year. Our goal is to see every student be able to go on an AIM trip before they graduate high school. To this end, we are continuing to develop a core AIM Affiliate network which will include other short-term missions ministries that have a like-minded mission. We are also continuing to develop relevant resources and opportunities for all local churches to utilize.
